MAULI CABLE & INTERNET NETWORK

Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 1 September 2025

Note: Mauli Cable & Internet Network has been serving customers since 1991. This document consolidates and formalizes the Terms & Conditions currently governing our services.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

  • “Company” refers to Mauli Cable & Internet Network, operating under Mauli Cable Network (Proprietorship) and Mauli Shiv Cable Internet Services Private Limited (Company).
  • “Subscriber” means any individual or entity who applies for or uses the Company’s services.
  • “CAF” means the Customer Application Form used for service registration.
  • “Services” include cable television, broadband internet, OTT bundles, leased lines, installations, and related offerings.
  • “STB”, “Router”, “ONT/ONU” mean the equipment provided by the Company for the delivery of services.
  • “FUP” means Fair Usage Policy applicable to certain broadband plans.
  • “KYC” refers to identity and address verification documents, including Aadhaar or any other officially accepted proof.
  • “Site” means the registered address of the Subscriber as provided in the CAF.
  • “Regulatory Authorities” include DoT, TRAI, CERT-In, police, and other statutory bodies.

2. Service Provision and Availability

2.1 All Services are provided subject to technical feasibility at the Site.

2.2 Services may be suspended or modified due to technical disruptions, maintenance, or regulatory intervention.

2.3 Downtime logs are maintained as per TRAI; compensation for downtime is not guaranteed.

3. Subscriber Obligations

  • Provide complete and accurate KYC and CAF details.
  • Ensure Company’s equipment is used only at the registered Site.
  • Maintain safety of equipment (STB, routers, ONT/ONU) and return them if services are discontinued.
  • Use Services in compliance with applicable laws, including the Information Technology Act and Copyright laws.
  • Not engage in reselling, redistribution, or unlawful activities.

4. Equipment Ownership

All equipment provided remains property of the Company. The Subscriber shall return equipment in good condition on termination of services. Damaged or lost equipment will be charged at prevailing market rates.

5. Billing and Payment

  • Subscriber shall pay charges in advance as per the chosen plan.
  • Non-payment may result in suspension or termination of services.
  • Taxes, levies, or duties as applicable shall be borne by the Subscriber.
  • No refund for mid-cycle disconnections.

6. Fair Usage and Network Policy

Broadband plans may be subject to FUP. Speed reductions or restrictions may apply after the specified usage limit is reached.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

The Company shall maintain confidentiality of Subscriber information as per applicable laws but may disclose information if required by Regulatory Authorities.

8. Termination and Suspension

  • The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for non-payment, misuse, regulatory directives, or technical reasons.
  • Subscriber may request termination by providing written notice and settling dues.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, business loss, or unauthorized use of services.

10. Regulatory Compliance

Services are subject to directions from DoT, TRAI, CERT-In, and other authorities. Subscribers shall cooperate with lawful requests.

11. Dispute Resolution

All disputes shall be subject to Mumbai jurisdiction.

12. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions. Updated terms will be published on the Company’s website.
